The Fairhope Film Festival is an annual event that showcases independent cinema and newly released films.  The festival offers world-class, award-winning films in a unique, picturesque location: the famous, flower-filled downtown area of Fairhope, convenient to restaurants, hotels, locally owned shops, and the town bluffs, which boast sweeping views of the bay.

Fairhope is famous for its “jubilee," a natural phenomenon which occurs on the shores, when flounder, crabs and shrimp swarm in high density along the shallow bay. This celebrated regular event provides fisherman with easy to catch seafood and attracts tourists from miles around.

The Fairhope French Quarter is a charming and historical section of downtown Fairhope, a hidden gem in the Yellowhammer State. With an ideal combination of historic charm, pleasant weather, and friendly residents, people from all over flock to Fairhope for a relaxing getaway. 

Locals and tourists frequent the Fairhope Municipal Pier for its spectacular views of the bay, fountain and rose garden, fishing, walking, dining, and bird watching. The pier is located right on South Beach Park near the Fairhope Beach Pavilion.

The coastal town of Fairhope celebrates Christmas right. The festive downtown area is a magical place, with the most enchanting main street in the country.  This picturesque town is a must-visit year-round, but at Christmastime, it's extra special.

One of the most popular events in Fairhope is the 4th of July celebration.  From the beach to the bluff, spectators pack the bayfront.  Fairhope knows how to throw a party and the Fourth of July celebration is one of its finest.  It all begins with a concert on the bluff by the Baldwin Pops and ends in a spectacular firework show.
